ASLS provides community access to people accessing services but wanting to remain in the safety and comfort of their residence. Community Support Programs assists individuals to develop community-based options customized to their specific wants.

Why Community Access is Important.

Community Access enables participation in regular events such as Volunteering, Social Nights, community gardening, and seasonal events which may be indoors or outdoors games and programs.

Community Access as a program of choice is opted for clients transitioning to a retirement lifestyle. This program affords participants opportunities to volunteer, identify, socialize, actualize their dreams and goals, and explore their communities, while most importantly, creating and deepening their love and belonging needs. In addition, individuals attain skills in self-advocacy, relationship building, and social inclusion and empowerment thus positively impacting their lives and community.
